Megawati Reminded Social Minister Risma To Care For The People When She GOT Position

BEKASI - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini said that she had been reminded by the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri to care for the people when she was Mayor of Surabaya in the second period. This message was even conveyed three times.

This was conveyed by Risma when giving a speech at the National Reforestation Opening activity in the context of PDIP's 50th Anniversary in Lembangsari Village, Tambun, Bekasi, West Java.

Initially, Risma thought she would get congratulations for returning to her position as Mayor of Surabaya. Moreover, he scored up to 89 percent at that time.

"I (initially, ed) thought I was congratulated (first, ed). But I was asked if I won what to do," said Risma when telling Megawati's message in front of PDIP cadres, Sunday, January 15.

Receiving this question, Risma admitted that she was confused and could not answer. "Mrs. Mega just said that she has been treated by your people, cared for by your people, cared for by your people, it was conveyed three times," he said.

Risma made various efforts to care for the people. In addition to carrying out his duties as Minister of Social Affairs, he also moved with PDIP through the action of planting trees.

In this action, Risma said, she and the cadres did not only carry out Megawati's orders. Religious orders have also been carried out by planting trees.

"As long as the tree emits oxygen, we can reward continuously," he said.

The tree planting activity began with the realization of Cinta in the country (Sicita) which was attended by cadres and the community around Kalimalang. Apart from Risma, the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Sukur Nababan and the Chairman of the West Java PDIP DPD, Ono Surono.

Not only that, members of the DPR Rieke Diah Pitaloka and Nico Siahaan were present to greet the residents of Bekasi Regency. Acting Bekasi Regent Dani Ramdan was also present at the event.

In his remarks, Ono said that the tree planting was part of the National Reforestation Program conducted by PDIP after holding the 50th Anniversary celebration on Tuesday, January 10. The target is that 50,000 trees are planted simultaneously in 27 districts/cities throughout West Java.

"This activity is a series of PDIP's 50th Anniversary events. Of course we carry out the mandate of the General Chairperson, that all cadres after the anniversary must go down to the middle of the people," said Ono before the tree planting event began.
