KKB Berulah Di Oksibil, Satgas Damai Cartenz Turdi Tangan

The police deployed the Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force (Satgas) to hunt down the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) to riot in the Oksibil area, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province.

Meanwhile, 155 Oksibil residents chose to evacuate due to riots caused by acts of terror from the KKB.

"The Cartenz Cartenz Cartenz 2023 Damai Operations Task Force has been dispatched and the Bintang Mountains Satreskrim backed up," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ignatius Benny Prabowo, when contacted, Saturday, January 14.

However, it has not been detailed about the members of the KKB who made the riots can be secured or not.

So far, Benny has only stated that conditions in the Oksibil region are conducive.

Then, there has been no increase in the number of Oksibil residents who chose to evacuate to safe areas due to the KKB terror action.

"Today it's safe, no people will go down," said Benny.

Previously, it was reported that 155 Oksibil residents, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province were reported to have fled to the Sentani area, since Thursday, January 12.

Of the hundreds of residents who fled, most of them were women and children. They got out of Oksibil by boarding charter planes and military aircraft serving the Sentani-Oxybil route.

They also brought logistics to meet their needs while evacuating.

Meanwhile, KKB spread terror by burning the Bintang Mountains Disdukcapil Office (Pegubin). In addition, they also opened fire on Ikairos' plane when it was about to land in Oksibil.

It was recorded that there were three KKB leaders in the Bintang Mountains area who often carried out violent acts, namely Lamek Tablo,IMin, and Nason Mimin.
