JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has opened five mobile SIM service locations for people who want to take care of extending the validity period of the legal driving requirements, in Jakarta, Saturday, January 14.

Through the official TMC Polda Metro Jaya Instagram account, it is informed that this service is open from 08.00 a.m. local time.

Here's the location:

East Jakarta : Grand Cakung Mall

South Jakarta : Kalibata Trilogy Campus

West Jakarta : LTC Glodok and Citraland Mall

Central Jakarta: Banteng Field Post Office

The documents that must be taken to mobile SIM include the original KTP and SIM along with photocopies, application forms and taking a medical test at the outlet location.

This service only serves valid SIM A and SIM C extensions.

For SIM holders whose validity period expires, they must apply for a new SIM at the Daan Mogot SIM Satpas, West Jakarta.

For the renewal fee, in accordance with Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 concerning Non-Tax State Revenue, it is IDR 80,000 for SIM A renewal and IDR 75,000 for SIM C extension.

While at the Mobile SIM outlet location, the public is asked to continue to apply the 5M health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining physical distance, staying away from crowds and limiting mobility and interaction.
