Successfully Joining Inflation, West Sulawesi Receiving A Prize Of IDR 40 Billion

JAKARTA - The Provincial Government of West Sulawesi (Sulbar) is considered successful in controlling inflation in its area. For this achievement, the central government gave a gift of Rp40 billion in the form of regional intensive funds.

"We have won seventh place in all provinces in Indonesia in controlling and handling inflation," said the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of West Sulawesi, Muhammad Idris, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, January 14.

He said that for this success, the West Sulawesi Provincial Government was rewarded with a reward of IDR 40 billion from the central government.

He hopes that the West Sulawesi TPID will continue to improve its performance so that the achievements of the seven-national commemoration in controlling regional inflation can be maintained.

"Synergy and readiness of West Sulawesi TPID must continue to be improved in carrying out the task of controlling regional inflation," he said.

He said the reward budget would be used to carry out development in West Sulawesi, so that the economy would continue to improve.

He conveyed that in controlling inflation, the West Sulawesi government had controlled inflation in 166 markets in six districts in West Sulawesi and continued to be monitored and effectively controlled inflation so that inflation in West Sulawesi continued to be controlled.

According to him, information on the price of basic necessities in the market must also continue to be monitored and evaluated in the future so that inflation can continue to be controlled.
