Pikap Transport Car 20 Farmers Collised By Boks Trucks In Pantura, 1 Died And 4 More Serious Injured

JABAR - The accident case involved a pickup with 20 farmers carrying a box truck that ate one victim with the initials JD (50) handled by the Indramayu Police.

The accident on Friday, January 13 that morning also resulted in four serious injuries and 15 minor injuries. All of the victims were pickup passengers.

"The accident resulted in the death of a person and dozens of other people being injured," said Indramayu Police Traffic Unit Head Adjunct Senior Commissioner Angga Handiman in Indramayu, Friday, January 13, confiscated by Antara.

Angga explained that the pickup truck number E 8981 QA was supposed to want to work on rice fields in the Indramayu area. However, an accident was hit by a box truck on the Pantura Lohbenar route at around 05.40 WIB.

"In addition to causing a death, the accident also resulted in four people having to be taken to the hospital because he was seriously injured," said Kasatlantas.

Angga said the chronology of the accident began when a pickup truck carrying farm workers drove from Jakarta to Cirebon.

When he stopped and was about to turn around on the Pantura Lohbenar, the pickup truck was hit by a box truck that was driving from the same direction.

From the results of the crime scene, evidence was found that the truck vehicle did not water it, resulting in an accident. The truck driver who was questioned by the police admitted that he was tired and sleepy.

The police immediately took a truck driver named Sukma Wijaya to the Indramayu Police Traffic Accident Unit for further investigation.

"We have named the truck driver as a suspect. From the results of the examination, the person concerned admitted that he was sleepy while driving until the accident occurred," he said.
