President Jokowi Arounds Kokas Check Activities After PPKM Ends, Had Stopped Buy Black Rompi

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo visited the Kasablanka City shopping center (Kokas), Jakarta, last night to check economic activity after the policy of implementing restrictions on community activities (PPKM) in Indonesia was lifted. President Jokowi arrived at Kokas at around 19.20 WIB and then surrounded the mall while seeing the products displayed at the store store store store window. While passing through a local brand shop from Bandung, West Java, Eiger, the President seemed interested in the products on display and decided to buy a black vest and a number of other products. "He came here shopping at our shop, he also bought quite a lot. There were jackets, from jackets, hats, and bags, like that," said Ogi, one of Eiger's staff in Kokas as reported by Antara, Thursday, January 12. Ogi also admitted that he was surprised by President Jokowi's presence who stopped by that night to buy a number of products there. Furthermore, Ogi hopes that buying and selling activities in shopping centers can return to the way they were before the pandemic. Meanwhile, one of the mall visitors, Nindy, admitted that he was surprised by President Jokowi's arrival to see the products being sold there. He also felt lucky to be able to meet with the Head of State tonight. "It's like I feel lucky, how come I suddenly didn't do anything like that, just go home from work, there's the President and Alhamdulillah really," said Nindy. After walking around, the President then left the shopping center at around 21.10 WIB.
