JAKARTA - Niawati (26), a young woman from West Java, regretted her actions at the Central Jakarta Metro Police. The woman who works as a household assistant (ART) has the heart to abort her pregnancy by drinking Cytotec Misoprosol. However, soon Nia flushed the baby with tap water until she died.

From the statement of the suspect, Niawati, she bought drugs through online sales that she had traced.

"Buy it at Lazada, (I) bought one package containing 18 pills. (Buy it) at a price of Rp. 1,250,000.," Niawati told VOI when met at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, January 12.

"Knowing (how to abort the pregnancy) was originally from Google," he said.

Nia admitted her actions and regretted it. The baby was previously carried by the suspect for 38 weeks.

"Yes, I'm pregnant. The results of my girlfriend and I did. I was desperate to get pregnant because I had no clarity from my girlfriend. There was no invitation to get married," said the suspect.

For his actions, the suspect faces a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said the suspect's actions were the result of an illicit relationship with a man with the initials R. The suspect was close to R who was in another area.

"The results of an illicit relationship around August, the suspect did not come for the month. The suspect decided to abort the pregnancy," said Kombes Komarudin.

Furthermore, Kombes Komarudin explained, his party is still investigating R's involvement in the act of N who was determined to abort the pregnancy. Suspect N is an ART who has only worked for 2 weeks.
