"The victim gave money to the suspect on January 2, 2023, worth Rp. 600 thousand, then on January 5, 2023, he gave money worth Rp. 500 thousand," he explained.

Finally, the Pemalang Police Chief said the victim gave Rp1 million to the two suspects.

"Residents who saw the victim gave money to the suspect and suspected the activity, then reported it to the Pemalang Police personnel who were patrolling around the crime scene (TKP)," he explained.

AKBP Ari again said that his party was currently processing the two suspects along with evidence.

"The two suspects are subject to Article 368 and/or 369 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 9 years in prison," said the Pemalang Police Chief.
