The Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) said fishermen were missing due to the boat used when fishing around the waters of Boneatiro, Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, when strong winds were found safe.
The Coordinator of the Baubau SAR Post Susandy said the victim named Muhammad Rafli (23) was found by other fishermen who were fishing.
"On Wednesday at around 21.25 WITA we received information from Bhabinkamtibmas Boneatiro who reported that at 21.15 WITA a fisherman was fishing to find the victim," he said in a written statement received in Kendari, Antara, Thursday, January 12.
Susandy said the victim was found lying limp in Karang Tanjung Kapontori (Tanjung Componea) about 1 kilometer southwest of the location where the victim's boat was found.

Basarnas, who received the report, then dispatched a rescue team from the Baubau SAR Post to conduct a search operation for victims.
The search for victims also involved rescue teams from the Baubau SAR Post, Kapontori Police, Kapontori Babinsa, Boneatiro Bhabinkamtibmas, Baubau PMI local communities and victims' families.
"With the discovery of the victim, the SAR operation is declared complete and closed, all elements involved are returned to their respective units," said Susandy.
