JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Sandiaga Uno, has met with the General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto behind closed doors. Sandiaga had previously previously expressed his intention to meet the Minister of Defense to explain the issue of joining the United Development Party (PPP). Regarding the meeting, Gerindra Party Secretary-General Ahmad Muzani, revealed that Sandiaga had explained the issue of him joining PPP. However, he did not reveal in more detail about the conversation at the 'tabayun' meeting. "We have met and the main thing is that the two are tawayuning each other, confirming to explain," said Muzani, Thursday, January 12. Muzani only stated that Prabowo and Sandiaga's relationship was fine. Even though he was urged, the chairman of the Gerindra faction of the DPR did not comment further. It is known that Sandiaga and Prabowo's meeting was revealed through a photo on the upload of the personal Instagram account @sandiuno on Wednesday, January 11. In the post, Sandiaga gave Prabowo a book related to his journey during the 2019 presidential election campaign. This book is a travel record during the 2019 presidential election campaign," Sandiaga wrote as quoted on Thursday, January 12. In the caption of the photo, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also admitted that he was sure that every note in the book would give encouragement in the best contribution to this country.," wrote Sandiaga.
