JAKARTA - The general chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri met her cadres offline at the 50th Anniversary of the PDIP. He asked whether his cadres missed him or not.

Megawati asked this in front of the cadres before delivering her political speech today, Tuesday, January 10.

"Can you see or not with your mother? Miss or not with your mother," said Megawati at JiExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 10.

"Right," replied the cadre compactly.

Megawati then said that the 50th Anniversary of the PDIP did not invite the general chairman of other parties in the country. The reason is that he wants to give directions to his cadres from the ranks of the PDIP DPP to the branches as well as the longing meeting.

"This is why with all my respect, my party friends and I did not invite. Because this is the consolidation of the party, for what? Kangen-kangenan," he said.

In this activity, Megawati also wants to see that there are still many cadres or not until now. Moreover, for three years he rarely met his cadres directly due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I haven't appeared face-to-face like this for almost three years. So I want to know whether this troop is still there or not, thank God," Megawati said as she was greeted by applause from the cadres and invited guests who attended.

Furthermore, Megawati reminded her cadres several things. Among them they were asked to go down to meet and feel they were in the community.

"Feeling vibrations, vibrations (when meeting the people, ed). Yes, if you don't go down, you won't feel it," said Megawati.
