The Police Have Stated That There Is A "Tikus Port" At The Narcotics Entrance In Central Bangka

JAKARTA - The police said there are a number of doors to Central Bangka that have the potential to be access to drugs. The entrance is in the form of a "rat port".

"Drug cases in Central Bangka are relatively high compared to other regencies in Babel, because many entrances, especially from hard-to-reach rat ports," he said in Koba, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Sunday, January 8, were confiscated by Antara.

He said there were several small ports and rat ports such as in Perlang, Tanjung Beikat, Lubuk Besar, and Sungaiselan.

"This is a small port that is not affordable, so the entrance is large and is a crossing," he said.

In addition, he said, Central Bangka is a crossing area that can trigger a high number of drug cases.

"This Central Bangka is close to Pangkalpinang and also Toboali, so that it becomes an entry to drug crossings. It can enter from Pangkalpinang, Toboali Sadai, Sungaiselan, which has a port there," he said.

Based on data from the Central Bangka Police, throughout 2022, 27 narcotics cases were successfully uncovered.

"Of the dozens of cases revealed, 16 narcotics cases were recorded in Koba District," said Risya.

Risya assessed that drug cases were found in Koba because they were crossing areas. "This coffee is close to Pangkalpinang and also Toboali, so that it becomes the crossing of illicit goods," he said.

His party further tightened supervision in Koba Subdistrict and also increased the number of personnel who would carry out patrols.

"We will continue to monitor closely, lest these narcotics damage the younger generation of Central Bangka," he said.
