Police Are Investigating Allegations Of ART Robbers Who Committed Theft In Cipayung

JAKARTA - The police are investigating the death of a household assistant named Sri (40) at her employer's house in Gang Saer 1 RT 02/01, Cipayung, East Jakarta. It is suspected that Sri was a victim of the ferocity of the robbers.

Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), AKBP Ahsanul Muqaffi, said the victim was first found by the owner of the house at around 12.00 WIB.

"So our team, a combination of Polres and Oolsek, is pursuing the perpetrator," Ahsanul said as quoted by Antara, Friday, January 6.

Ahsanul added that the victim died with a stab wound to the left abdomen.

"The victim was lying on the chair. There was a wound to the left abdomen," said Ahsanul.

Ahsanul said that his party was still investigating indications of the robbery behind the murder.

"We will investigate the robbery first," said Ahsanul.

Ahsanul said that his party had also secured a number of evidences at the scene.

The victim's body has now been taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an autopsy. "Of course we will pursue the perpetrator," he concluded.
