JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil conducted an inspection of the Al wayur Grand Mosque in the Gedebage area, Bandung City.

The chairman of the Prosperity Council of the Alirur Mosque revealed his arrival to respond to residents' complaints about the condition of the mosque which had only been inaugurated for a few days.

"As Chairman of DKM, we also ensure that complaints are responded to," said Ridwan Kamil as quoted by the West Java Provincial Government, Thursday, January 5.

Starting the inspection, Governor Ridwan Kamil accompanied by the Head of the West Java Satpol PP got on a motorboat to check the condition of the lake in the area outside the Al fire Mosque (MRAJ) which was previously reportedly filled with garbage. From the results of his review, the condition of the lake is now relatively clean. The governor also thanked the volunteers who had helped clean up the garbage.

"The condition is relatively cleaner, thank you to the volunteers and all those who took the initiative," said the Governor.

In terms of order, Ridwan Kamil saw that there were still many street vendors (PKL) who held their stalls not in the places that had been provided.

His party ensures that starting Saturday, January 7, there will be control of street vendors who are still selling not in the street vendor zone.

"Starting the day after tomorrow, the control will be carried out. The street vendor zone has been prepared, please use it, but it can't be like now (selling it not in the place provided)," he said.

Many street vendors are also known to come from residents around the mosque. Even though street vendors selling in the MRAJ area are prioritized for local residents.

"Trading is permissible, but it is regulated and prioritized for local residents, but after recording most of them are not impromptu local residents who come from everywhere," he said.

For the area inside the mosque, it looks like the carpet is almost completely installed. This will increase the comfort of the people when worshiping.

"The carpet has been installed almost 100 percent, it is more comfortable here," said the Governor. As for access to the MRAJ, the Governor ensures that it will be added so that there is no vehicle density.

The governor also asked visitors not to always use entry access from Jalan Cimincrang, but to use other access from the southern Gedebage.

"We will add more access not to all come from Cimincrang, please come from South Gedebage," he said.

Access from KM 149 of the Purbaleunyi Toll Road is currently in the process of being repaired. If the repair is complete, visitors using four-wheeled vehicles will be directed access through KM 149.

"The toll road is being checked because there is damage. So later the four-wheeled vehicle will enter from the toll road," said Ridwan Kamil.

The governor again appealed to MRAJ visitors to always maintain cleanliness, order, and prioritize worship activities before other activities.

"We appeal to the residents, let's keep cleanliness and order. Remember this is a place of worship, a house of worship, a house of worship, then pray first, then others, nothing else, first, then pray," he ordered.
