Brigadier J's Murder Session, Administrative Judge Bharada E, Who Was Only Taught To Carry Out Orders Without Analysis

JAKARTA - Chief Judge Wahyu Iman Santoso alluded to the rank of defendant Richard totaling alias Bharada E who was only taught to carry out orders from superiors without analysis.

Initially, Judge Wahyu questioned what Bharada E felt when he received an order to shoot Brigadier J.

"When you were ordered to shoot, what was in your mind at that time?" asked Judge Wahyu during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), Thursday, January 5.

"I don't know anymore Your Majesty," replied Bharada E.

Hearing this statement, Judge Wahyu then began to offend the rank of Bharada which was carried by Richard totaling.

In fact, it is said that at the lowest rank in the National Police institution, it is only taught to obey superior orders without being provided with analysis training.

"Brother in the police force is with the rank of Bharada," asked the judge.

"Ready," replied Bharada E.

"In your training, you are only training how to carry out orders?" asked the judge again.

"Ready," said Bharada E.

"At the rank level, you only carry out orders, not to analyze or regulate strategies?" the judge emphasized.

"That's right" said Bharada E.

"That's what training teaches?" asked the judge again.

"Ready," said Bharada E.

Bharada E is one of five defendants in the murder case of Brigadier J. He was charged with participating in the murder.

Based on the indictment file, Bharada E shot Brigadier J using a Clock-17 firearm. The action was called on Ferdy Sambo's orders.

The shooting was carried out in the living room of the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on July 8, 2022.

Thus, in this case Bharada E was charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code. They face a maximum sentence of death, life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.
