Planning To Open A New Road In 10 Locations, The DKI Provincial Government Will Free Citizens' Land

Head of DKI Jakarta Highways Agency Hari Nugroho said that his party plans to open a new road that will connect a number of roads in Jakarta. Hari revealed that currently his party has made an inventory of the 10 points where the road is connected. He explained an example of a number of roads that will be the target of opening. "We start with an inventory (road connection location). Starting from Pasar Minggu parallel to trains, Kemuning, Waru, Kelapa Gading, where else maybe, Bekasi Raya," Hari told reporters, Wednesday, January 4. Hari said, the opening of this new road aims to unravel congestion by breaking down the volume of vehicles crossing these roads. From the opening of this road, Hari claims there will be an impact of reducing traffic density by 30 percent in these locations. "We will encourage around 10 roads to be able to overcome congestion. The projection can be 20 to 30 percent to reduce congestion. Because the road is wide, there will automatically be no congestion," he said. With the opening of this new road, automatically there will be land acquisition that is affected by the mapping of the road to be built. Meanwhile, the need for land area to be acquired varies from location to location where the new road will be made. "Depending on yes, there are only two fields (of the field), some are three (fields), some are one RW, various things," he added.
