Jokowi's Sambut Crossing In Pekanbaru, Rows Of Students Spread The Red And White Flag

RIAU - President Joko Widodo paid a working visit to Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, Wednesday, January 4. The arrival of the head of state was welcomed by students.

Wearing school uniforms, they stood along the edge of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman holding a red and white flag.

"We are here to see the President. Usually we only look at television, we never see it firsthand," said Vina, one of the students waiting for President Jokowi's arrival on the side of the road, Wednesday, January 4, was confiscated by Antara.

When the car carrying Jokowi's group passed, the students raised the flag and shouted for the name of the President, "Pak Jokowi... Pak Jokowi..."

The head of state in Pekanbaru City underwent a number of activities. After arriving at the Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base, Pekanbaru, President Jokowi headed to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) and then visited Pasar Bawah.

Around four thousand joint personnel from the TNI, Polri, and local governments were deployed to secure a working visit from the President in Riau Province.

"We are maximal to cover the vulnerability gap. Alhamdulillah, it is still sloping to this day," said Commander of Korem 031/Wira Bima Brigadier General Parlindung Hutagalung in Pekanbaru, Tuesday, January 3, after an assembly to hold a security force for the President's visit.
