Police Arrest 2 People Related To The Finding Of A Body In Front Of The Yarsi Campus

JAKARTA - Two men were arrested by members of the Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) in connection with a robbery case that occurred at the exit of Yarsi Campus, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 3.

"In the meantime, we have only secured two people, and we are developing them again. We are still investigating this case," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Komhes Komarudin, Tuesday, January 3.

Kombes Komarudin said that currently the police are still developing and examining witnesses. The victim is known to be a victim of theft of violence (curas).

"The victim is known to have been executed in a location around Yarsi. The perpetrator is also entangled in Article 365 of the Criminal Code," he said.

Previously, the body of a man with stab wounds to his chest and waist was found in front of the exit of the Yarsi Campus, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Saturday, December 31, 2022.

After conducting an investigation, the Cempaka Putih Police, Central Jakarta, stated that the body of the man found lying on Jalan Letjen Suprapto, in front of the Yarsi Campus, turned out to be a victim of robbery.

"This is because the Nmax type of motorbike used by the missing victim and another cellphone was also taken," said Cempaka Putih Police Chief Kompol Bernard Saragih, Monday, January 2.

Furthermore, Kompol Bernard said, officers had also found the identity of the victim with the initials KSD. The victim lives on Jalan Swasembada Barat 8, Kebon Bawang Village, Tanjung Priok.

"In Tanjung Priok, the victim signed. The address on the ID card is a resident of Tambak RT 06 RT 01, Gumelar Kidul Village, Tambak Kota District, Banyumas," he said.
