Not Agreeing With The Democrats About The Declaration Of One Package, NasDem Wants To Announce The Vice President To Be A Shock

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party responded to the Democrat Party's statement regarding the declaration that a coalition would be held in conjunction with the announcement of presidential candidates (candidates) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres). NasDem emphasized that the vice presidential announcement would be made separately to make it a surprise. It is known that NasDem is communicating with Democrats and PKS to form a coalition called the Change Coalition. Democrats want the coalition to be declared in conjunction with the presidential and vice presidential candidates who will be promoted. "NasDem did not declare a package so that the vice presidential candidate became an element of surprise," said Deputy Chairperson of the NasDem DPP, Willy Aditya, Monday, January 2. The reason, continued Willy, was that NasDem wanted to see who Anies Baswedan's opponent was as the party's vice presidential candidate. "We have to see who will be the opponent of the match (Anies), so that the principle of playing to win is met," he continued. Nevertheless, Willy said, NasDem does not have a problem if both Democrats and PKS want the declaration of a presidential and vice presidential candidate to be carried out together with a coalition declaration. Provided, he said, the figure of the vice presidential candidate has the variable to win. "So if the Democrat wants to declare a package, that's okay, that's the Democrat's preference, we respect it. But we can push the final decision together to accompany Mas Anies," explained the member of the DPR. Previously, the Democrat Party stated that the Amendment Coalition that was formed with NasDem and PKS would be declared in conjunction with the announcement of the presidential and vice presidential candidates. The Coordinator of the Democratic Party Spokesperson, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, ensured that the coalition's declaration was not carried out alone without two political parties (political parties) as potential coalition partners. "Until now we are planning a joint declaration. We confirm the declaration of a coalition, with the presidential candidate (candidate) and vice presidential candidate (cawapres), ” said Herzaky, last Sunday.
