PDIP Value Observers Are Big If You Don't Candidate Ganjar

Political observer Unpad, Muradi, assesses that the PDI-P must consider Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate because of his smooth electability.

"The number 1 survey of Ganjar that is not nominated will emerge a new configuration, but it is too expensive for PDIP to release Ganjar without being nominated because the important point is that everyone is waiting, Ganjar is definitive or shifting to other people," he said at the "Outlook Politic 2023" activity held by the Indonesian Politics Research & Consulting (IPRC) Survey in Bandung, Saturday, December 31.

Muradi said that the issue of figures who were deemed worthy to advance to the presidential election had actually been completed throughout 2022. So, he thought the parties were just waiting for momentum to release it.

Furthermore, Muradi assesses that there will be two candidates who will appear in the upcoming presidential election.

Especially for Ganjar Pranowo, IPRC Executive Director, Firman Manan reminded that his electability next year could be affected by President Jokowi's performance.

Once the level of public satisfaction with Jokowi is satisfied, Ganjar will have a positive impact on his candidacy. Vice versa, when the former Mayor of Solo's performance is considered disappointing. Ganjar will still be splashed.

"This is because Ganjar is considered close to Jokowi. He will get incentives from these conditions so this needs to be observed next year," he said.
