BadUNG - The fireworks party accompanied by the sound of house music DJ (musical fires) enlivened New Year's Eve at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park, Badung, Bali, January 1.

Exactly in the first minute of 2023, the series of fireworks which were referred to as the biggest fireworks party in Bali was fired onto the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue.

At least 16,000 tourists crowded the location for the 2023 Bali Countdown at GWK Cultural Park immediately recorded the moment Musical Fireworks.

The moment of the turn of the year was also witnessed by a number of officials from the Bali Provincial Government and the Badung Regency Government, as well as the Bali Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Putu Jayan Danu Putra, Operational Director of GWK Stefanus Yonathan Astayasa, and General Manager of Marketing Communication of GWK Andre Prawiradisastra.

Andre on a separate occasion said that the fireworks display at GWK in 2023 was held in a different location compared to previous years.

The GWK Bali Countdown 2023 event attracted a very large audience interest. Initially, this event will be held in the Lotus Pond area which is the Welcome dinner for the G20 Summit, but to accommodate more spectators, it will be moved to a new venue with a capacity of 3 times greater," Andre said as reported by Antara.

At the new location, visitor capacity can reach more than 20,000, but to maintain the safety and comfort of tourists, GWK only sells 70 percent of the audience's maximum capacity.

A few minutes before the turn of the year at GWK, MC the event invited tens of thousands of tourists to crowd the location of the event to offer prayers for better health and life in 2023.

Shortly after praying, the MC also guided the calculation of the end of 2022, and started in 2023.

The New Year's Eve celebration of the 2023 Bali Countdown' at GWK not only featured fireworks, but also various music performances from the Ungu band, Sheila on 7, Navicula, Lolot, Not So Koplo, then the event closed DJ Sheila Marcia's appearance.

Andre conveyed that the New Year's celebration party will continue on Sunday (1/1), where several musicians such as Kahitna, Dialogue Dini Hari, Bagus Wirata, Jun Bintang, and Joni Agung & Double T will entertain tourists at GWK Cultural Park.
