Harley Davidson Drivers Are In Cells, But Not Yet A Suspect

The East Jakarta Traffic Unit (Satlantas) stated that it had detained a Harley Davidson driver with the initials RMP (43) in the Central Jakarta Metro Police detention cell.

"The RMP has been secured at the Central Jakarta Metro Police," said Head of Laka Satlantas Central Jakarta AKP Sutiyono to VOI, Friday, December 30.

Even so, the police have not named the suspect to RMP. The reason is, RMP is still undergoing in-depth examination so that no suspect has been named.

"Currently, the results of the title (case) go up to fingerprints," he said.

RMP was detained after hitting a pedestrian on Jalan Hos Cokroaminoto, Menteng District, Central Jakarta until he died. The victim is known to be Sugiyem (63), a resident of Cikondang Village, RT 05/05, Kunci Village, Sidareja District, Cilacap Regency.

"The perpetrator also suffered injuries to his hands, still being bandaged," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Traffic Unit (Satlantas) had not confirmed the legal status of RMP (43), a man riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle who hit an elderly woman (elderly) to death in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday afternoon, December 27.

When asked about the legal process of the incident, the Head of the Central Jakarta Traffic Unit (Kasatlantas) Kompol Purwanta said that until now RMP was still undergoing treatment at the hospital due to injuries falling from his motorbike.
