The KPK Finds Evidence Of Alleged Bribery By AKBP Bambang Kayun In His House And Apartment

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence of alleged bribery and gratification in AKBP Bambang Kayun's house and apartment with the status of a suspect. This finding was obtained when investigators conducted a search on Wednesday, December 28 yesterday. "The investigative team has finished conducting searches at two different locations in the North Jakarta area," said Head of the KPK News Section for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Thursday, December 29. Ali said the evidence obtained was allegedly related to the case that ensnared Bambang. "Evidence was found and secured in the form of electronic devices," he said. Furthermore, the evidence was brought by investigators. The KPK will also confiscate the findings. "Immediately analyzed and confiscated to complete the investigation case file," said Ali. As previously reported, Bambang Kayun was named a suspect in alleged bribery and gratification related to falsification of letters during the case for the seizure of the rights of the heirs of PT Aria Citra Mulia (ACM). He is suspected of getting billions of rupiah in money to the Toyota Alphard car. The KPK then summoned him on December 23. It's just that he was not present without reason to investigators. In this case, Bambang has also filed a pretrial at the South Jakarta District Court. He sued because he did not accept being named a suspect by the KPK. However, the lawsuit was rejected by the Sole Judge of the South Jakarta District Court, Agung Sutomo Thoba. Bambang's determination as a suspect is considered to have complied with the procedure.
