Share BLT At The NTB Sila Market, Jokowi Hopes That Assistance Will Be USED For Business Capital

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Sila Market, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). There, the head of state handed over working capital assistance (BMK) and direct cash assistance (BTL).

In the second day of this working visit to NTB, Jokowi advised market traders who received BLT to use assistance as additional business capital.

"He said (President), Rp1,200,000 used it as well as possible for additional business capital," said Nurinayah, a trader at Sila Market, quoted from a statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat via Antara, Thursday, December 29.

Nurinayah also admitted that she was happy and expressed her gratitude for the business capital assistance provided by the government. He also expressed his gratitude for the presence of President Jokowi with First Lady Iriana Jokowi in his hometown.

"Thank you Mr. Jokowi for giving this (assistance) and for coming to our village to Bima. I hope Mr. Jokowi is always healthy and his family," he said.

Similarly, Bima residents who had the opportunity to take selfies with the president, Lisa, also expressed their joy to meet the President. Lisa also expressed her hopes for Bima's progress.

"Thank you Pak Jokowi, thank you for coming to Bima. Hopefully, the people of Bima will be better off with the environment," said Lisa.

Meanwhile, another Bima resident who attended Sila Market, Leni hopes that the President can return to visit Bima. In addition, Leni also hopes that the government can pay attention to agricultural problems in Bima.

Hope as a Bima people so that Bima can be seen by Pak Jokowi. Bima people need corn problems, increasing the price of corn. The price of farmers must be increased," he said.

Also accompanying the President and Mrs. Iriana in the Sila Market were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Governor of NTB Zulkieflimansyah, and Regent of Bima Indah Mohayanti Putri.
