The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police has returned the stolen motorbike in the Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) area, South Tangerang, to its owner.

"Today there is a handover of vehicles to the victims," said Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol. Hengki Haryadi in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 28.

The motorbike is one of the motorized vehicles resulting from a crime that was secured by officers during the operation of "Sikat Jaya 2022" for 1-15 December 2022.

During the operation, the police managed to uncover 112 cases and arrested 168 perpetrators of the crime.

Muhammad Zildan the owner of the motorbike is pleased with the fast action of the Police who managed to find and return his motorcycle.

"Thank you to Polda Metro Jaya for handling this case and the motorbike also met him very quickly, from the day of the incident he was able to meet and immediately inform you of the good news," said Zildan at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday.

Zildan, who works as an online motorcycle taxi driver, revealed that his motorbike was lost while delivering orders to QBIG Mall at BSD, South Tangerang, on December 8, 2022, at around 17.00 WIB.

The incident was immediately reported to the Pagedangan Police by Zildan on the same day. The next day he immediately received good news from the police.

"Tomorrow day at around 11.00 WIB, he said the motorbike had been found, it was at Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

"I was told to come here to make a BAP (Investigation Report). There because the motorbike made money, I gave a loan letter using evidence," he said.

He also added that the entire process from reports to the return of motorbikes was free of charge.
