Small Possibility Of Golkar Supporting Ganjar Pranowo, Observer: Do You Really Want Airlangga To Be With Megawati?

JAKARTA - Charta Politica Indonesia released a survey related to the presidential candidate (Capres) 2024. As a result, PDIP, Golkar, and PPP voters dominantly support the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo as president. A total of 68.3 percent of PDIP voters support Ganjar. Followed by Golkar voters 37.3 percent, and 27.8 percent of PPP voters also support the former DPR member. The founder of the KedaiKOPI survey agency, Hendri Satrio, assessed that the survey results cannot be a determinant in Ganjar Pranowo's nomination by PDIP. Likewise, the attitude of Golkar and PPP will not be much different either.

"Not necessarily (directly choosing Ganjar). So far, Mrs. Mega, if she supports the candidate, is never based on the survey results, but based on the wishes or ideological assessment," said Hendri in Jakarta, Wednesday, December 28.

Hendri then highlighted the Golkar Party which has nominated General Chair (Ketum) Airlangga Hartarto in the 2024 General Election. As the General Chairman, Hendri assessed that Airlangga could make a decision regarding the position of presidential candidate in Golkar.

"Golkar wants Ketum to come forward Airlangga Hartarto. Because he is the chairman, he can decide. Will he be given to Ganjar Pranowo? Yes, I don't know," said the political observer from Pramadina University.

According to him, so far the Golkar Party is solid in supporting Airlangga Hartarto as a presidential candidate. On the other hand, if the party bearing the banyan symbol nominates Ganjar, it will face PDIP "(Golkar) solidly. So, it is unlikely that Golkar will nominate Ganjar. And, when Golkar becomes proposed Ganjar in the 2024 presidential election, it will face PDIP," he said. The man who is familiarly called Hensat said that if Golkar forced Ganjar to withdraw Ganjar as the presidential candidate he promoted, then Airlangga would face PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri. Because Ganjar is a PDIP cadre.

"If Airlangga gives Ganjar Pranowo, right, it means challenging Mrs. Mega. Do you really want Golkar to deal with PDIP? Do you want Airlangga to deal with Mrs. Mega? I don't think so," he concluded.
