Deputy Governor (Deputy Governor) of Central Java (Central Java) Taj Yasin Maimoen asked all levels of society to use the spirit of harmony for Christmas 2022 as a moment to strengthen togetherness between religious communities in facing the turn of the year.

"By maintaining harmony and mutual cooperation, Indonesia can recover soon and progress," he said in Semarang, Central Java, Monday, December 26, as reported by Antara.

The Deputy Governor said that community harmony is one of the supports for the country to run the wheels of the economy after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The threat of recession in the world in the coming year, he continued, still overshadows all countries, including Indonesia. However, if the community is in harmony and security stability is maintained, the wheels driving the economy can run quickly, so that the economy will increase.

"How to bring up the economy in 2023 that the President has warned that by 2023, 2024 will experience a recession, but we are confident and optimistic, if together, we will do it together," he said.

Furthermore, the Deputy Governor expressed his gratitude to the ranks of the TNI and Polri in securing the celebration of the 2022 Christmas Day.

He considered that the TNI-Polri had worked very optimally, so that the 2022 Christmas holiday service could run smoothly without significant obstacles.

The number two person in the Central Java Provincial Government also appealed to the 2023 New Year celebrations, the public to remain orderly in carrying out the applicable rules.

According to him, with the success of this year's Christmas celebration, the celebration of the 2023 New Year can provide more inspiration to the community for the coming year.
