JAKARTA - The Fatahillah Museum in the Old City Jakarta Tourism Area was observed to be crowded with visitors to coincide with the 2022 Christmas Day holiday on Sunday, December 25. Many visitors who packed the Fatahillah Museum area brought along relatives and family. It is not uncommon for a group of young people to also gather at that location. A visitor named Lina Susanti from Bekasi admitted that it was the first time he had visited Kota Tua. The impression that he had been here was quite busy, but he regretted his lack of maintaining cleanliness. "The public is not clean, the toilets are also long and the prayer rooms are inadequate for many people," he said who came with two of his friends. Suwandi, a member of the onthel bicycle community admitted that visitors increased at the end of this week which also coincided with school holidays. "This is again school holidays plus weekends, it usually increases," he said, quoted from ANTARA. As of Sunday afternoon, 40 bicycles rented were used at a rate of Rp. 20,000 for 30 minutes.

In addition, there is also a Christmas-themed music show that will last until 20.00 WIB. As for various activities that can be done here in addition to on-tel cycling, visitors can take pictures with statued humans with various fashion models such as heroes, carnivaled clothes, and some are even dressed like the Queen of the Netherlands, Queen Wilhelmina. The museum, which is officially known as the Jakarta History Museum, has an area of more than 1,300 square meters with various food and beverage tenants around it that visitors can enjoy while relaxing in the afternoon. This historic building is also surrounded by several museums including the Wayang Museum, the Textile Museum and the Bank Mandiri Museum.
