Korlantas Polri: Traffic Flow On The Peak Line Is Quite Normally Controlled

JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police assesses that traffic flow on the Puncak Bogor Line, West Java, is monitored to be normal and under control. This is based on the results of patrols carried out by the National Police Corps on Sunday, December 25.

Patrols were carried out by the Director of Law Enforcement of Korlantas Polri Brigadier General Aan Suhanan along with members of the Korlantas Polri and the Bogor Police. They patrolled the Puncak Bogor tourist route on a motorbike.

"Today we carry out patrols at tourist attractions because we know Sunday, March 25, Christmas holidays. Many people take advantage of the Christmas holidays in touch and travel," said the Simpang Gadog Integrated Service Post, Bogor Regency, Sunday.

Brigadier General Aan said that until now one of the favorite tourist destinations for the people in Jabodetabek is Puncak Bogor. However, based on the results of patrols, the traffic along the Jagorawi Toll Road to Puncak Bogor is quite under control.

"If I see that it is still quite normal, then Puncak Bogor is quite under control, traffic engineering has not been carried out," he said.

According to reports from the Gadog Command Post, the flow of vehicle traffic is still normal and tends to decrease due to Friday, December 23, the peak of vehicle traffic flow in Puncak Bogor. Meanwhile, on Saturday then decreased until Sunday afternoon.

In fact, many vehicles traveling from Puncak Bogor began to come down to Jakarta, as seen from the service post data because the vehicles that climbed towards Puncak on Saturday were still at Puncak.

"An additional Friday from Cipanas, then from Bandung, our prediction is that around 30 thousand people going through Puncak will go down to Jakarta. So this 30 thousand to 'weekend', meaning we will do 'one way' from top to bottom," he said.

According to ANTARA's monitoring at Simpang Gadog, Sunday, afternoon, traffic has been implemented on a route to Jakarta. However, traffic flow is still monitored normally, crowded, and smoothly.
