JAKARTA - The movement of passengers at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, East Jakarta, during the 2022 Christmas holiday has not fully returned to the way it was before the COVID-19 pandemic.

This was conveyed by the Coordinator of the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Implementation Unit Wahyu Hidayat. The COVID-19 pandemic, which is currently under control, has not had a significant impact.

"Although the current pandemic situation in Indonesia is under very much control, the passenger situation when compared to the same period before the pandemic, has not completely returned to normal," he said, as quoted by Antara, Sunday, December 25.

He said the mobilization of passengers before the pandemic could be up to 3,000 people per day. This number increases on weekends ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 passengers.

Meanwhile, at the momentum of the 2022 holiday, the number of travelers peaked on Saturday, December 24, or the day before the 2022 Christmas celebration reached 2,543 service users.

The COVID-19 Vaccination Center at the Pulogebang Terminal has allocated primary and booster vaccines for the general public and prospective passengers, Wahyu Hidayat said.
