Joint SAR Team Finds Dead Men Dilanding In The Cengkareng Drain Sect

JAKARTA - The man who had drowned was finally found dead by the joint SAR team. The victim with the initials R (21) was found in Cengkareng Drain, Kembangan District, West Jakarta, Sunday, December 25.

"He was found dead at a radius of 1.5 KM from the scene. The victim was found floating above the surface of the Cengkareng Drain river," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office, Fazzli when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, December 25.

The search for victims was carried out by a number of teams that have been deployed since Saturday, December 24. The search on Sunday morning was carried out by dividing the search area into 2 teams.

"The first team conducted a search by combing the Cengkareng Drain flow using rubber boats up to a radius of 7 KM from the scene, and the second team conducted a visual search by land along riverbanks up to 7 KM from the scene," he said.

The joint SAR elements include the Jakarta SAR Office, TRC BPBD DKI Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Damkar, Kembangan Police and Kembangan District as well as other units.

"The victim was found to have drowned after throwing himself into the Cengkareng Drain River on Saturday, December 24 at 00.30 WIB," he said.
