MUKOMUKO - The Mukomuko Regency Government, Bengkulu, currently still lacks 2,800 employees out of a total need of around 5,800 employees. Head of the Mukomuko Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency, Wawan Santoni, said that until now there are 3,000 civil servants (PNS) or state civil servants (ASN) in this area, while the need is 5.800 employees. "The shortage is based on the analysis of positions, besides that ideally the number of civil servants at the district level is 5,000 people," he said in Mukomuko, Antara, Friday, December 23. For this reason, he said, the local government has since the last few years empowered non-civil servant personnel to provide services to the community in the area so that it continues. He said that non-civil servant workers in this area consisted of regional employees with contract agreements, volunteer workers, and paris archives personnel. He said, as many as thousands of non-PNS personnel as well as teachers, health workers, and administrative staff within the local government were paid from the APBD. Furthermore, he said, the local government would accept the formation of PPPK, but it has not been determined how many there are. "In the last few years, this area has received dozens of PPPKs and in 2023 we will open PPPK revenues," he also said. The area also received general transfer funds (DTU) from the central government amounting to Rp. 18 billion in 2023 for the salary of formation of government employees with a work agreement (PPPK). "We are still calculating first, how much is the basic salary, allowances for all kinds of people. If the calculation of funds as large as that, it is estimated that this area will receive around 275 to 300 PPPK people," he said. In addition, his party has not yet received a proposal for a PPPK formation for education and health personnel from the Health Office and the Education and Culture Office. He said the opening of PPPK acceptance in 2023 was carried out at the end of the year.
