PALEMBANG - Kereta (KA) Sindang Marga majoring in Kertapati Palembang-Lubuklinggau (PP), South Sumatra operates every day before Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023. Head of Public Relations of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Divre III Palembang Aida Suryanti explained that the operation of the Sindang Marga train is every day to accommodate the needs of people who will travel during the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays. "Usually the Sindang Marga train only operates for four days, namely Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This time it operates every day to accommodate the needs of people who will travel during the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays," said Aida Suryanti in Palembang, Antara, Thursday, December 22. KAI Divre III operates the Sindang Marga train every day with departure hours at 20.15 WIB from Kertapati Station, and at 19.45 WIB from Lubuk Linggau station. "Given the availability of seating for the Bukit Serelo train bound for Kertapati-Lubuklinggau (PP) which has been sold out until January 3, 2023, we provide alternatives to the community to use the Kadang Marga," said Aida. During the 2023 Christmas and New Year's Post Period from 22 December 2022 - 8 January 2023, Divre III operates three trains, namely the Bukit Serelo train for the Kertapati-Lubuklinggau (PP) train Rajabasa relation for Kertapati-Tanjungkarang and the Sindang Marga commercial train for the Kertapati-Lubuklinggau (PP) relationship by providing 42,860 seats during that period. Bukit Serelo and Rajabasa train tickets have been sold out until January 3, 2013. Until the first day of the Christmas and New Year's posts, Divre III has sold 24,88 thousand long-distance train tickets or 60 percent of the total seats provided. "For people who are traveling and have not received tickets, we recommend using the Sindang Marga train which is still available. Ticket bookings can be through KAI Access, KAI website, supermarket outlets that have collaborated or other ticket booking applications," he said. KAI Divre III invites people who will use trains during the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays to comply with the rules of the travel conditions that have been set, so that this holiday becomes safer and more enjoyable, said Aida.
