According To The Ministry Of PUPR, Central Java, The Best Affairs Of Planning And Maintenance Of Provincial Roads

JAKARTA - Central Java is the winner who manages the best road at the national level at the assessment of the Performance in the Community Development Sector in Road Implementation carried out by the Ministry of PUPR.

"I would like to thank the Ministry of PUPR for this award. I believe this can all be realized for the hard work of friends in Central Java who have worked hard," said Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen in Semarang, Wednesday, December 21.

According to him, the award received is a reminder to all parties to continue to care and maintain the condition of the road together.

"Everyone must remember at this moment, if later there is a road that is not in good condition, yes it needs to be repaired, the community must also contribute to maintaining the road so that it can always be comfortable to use together. We have an application Beautiful Street' which can be used as a means to inform each other if there is a damaged road," said the Deputy Governor proudly reported by Antara.

Head of the Central Java Public Works, Highways and Cipta Karya (PUBMCK) Office, Hanung Triyono, added that this award was given because the Central Java Provincial Government was considered capable of planning, implementing and maintaining provincial roads.

He called it something crucial because provincial roads are connected to national roads that automatically support reliability of road connectivity.

In addition, the Central Java Provincial Government is also considered capable of managing the Regional Fund Grant Program well.

The reliability of the Central Java road is indicated that the steady road condition is recorded at 92.49 percent of the total length of the province road of 2,404.741 kilometers.

"How is our program to overcome or optimize these conditions, as well as carry out work for roads that need to be improved," he said.

Another assessment is the response speed factor to overcome the complaint as is known, the Central Java DPUBMCK has the "Beautiful Road" application, which makes it easier to report road damage through cell phones that can be accessed by the public.

"This is also surveyed, so our maintenance is considered to have a quick response according to the rules and status of road functions, everything is clear and is carried out responsibly by the Central Java Provincial Government," he said.

In addition to Central Java, which won the First Champion of Performance Assessment of Regional Government for the Development Sector, South Sumatra occupied second place, followed by Central Sulawesi in third place.

"In 2018 Central Java won also in the same event, but won second place, then this year won first place and received appreciation for the road and bridge maintenance program worth IDR 10 billion," he said.
