Ready To Be A Presidential Candidate, Sandiaga Got A Special Message From Prabowo: Focus On Working As A Minister

Sandiaga Uno admitted that he always coordinated with the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, regarding the dynamics of the 2024 presidential and vice presidential nominations.

"As a cadre of the Gerindra Party, I always coordinate with my (party) leader, Pak Prabowo. And we welcome this democratic party," said Sandiaga Uno.

This was conveyed by Sandiaga, who is also the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, after attending the Plenary Meeting of the National Committee for the Economy and Finance of Sariah at the Vice President's Palace in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 20, quoted from Antara.

Sandiaga said the Presidential Election as a five-year democratic party should be well received. Anyone who is promoted by political parties as a presidential candidate or a vice presidential candidate must have readiness.

Sandi said he would also be ready when he was trusted to be nominated by political parties as presidential or vice presidential candidates.

"I say if we are trusted to be nominated, of course we must be ready," he said.

Sandiaga hopes that the 2024 presidential election contestation will lead to the sustainability of development and reconciliation of polarization that had occurred in the previous presidential election.

"Because yesterday there may have been polarization, and this must be unified. President Joko Widodo has shown that he can embrace to build the nation," he said.

Sandiaga further stated that he was always obedient and upright with every party decision. However, so far according to him, the dynamics is still being disbursed.

Prabowo himself, Sandiaga said, had given direction to himself to continue to focus on working as a minister of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet by going down to hear directly every aspiration of the people.
