JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government plans to hold 2023 New Year's Eve celebrations at seven points on December 31, 2022. This was decided based on today's leadership meeting. Then, the details of New Year's Eve celebrations in six areas are Thamrin 10 in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta Mayor's Office, West Jakarta Mayor's Office, Setu Babakan in South Jakarta, Old Shanghai in East Jakarta, and Untung Java Island in the Thousand Islands. Continuing, Head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) Andhika Permata said that New Year's Eve celebrations will also be filled by car free night along Jalan Sudirman to MH Thamrin. Andhika explained that the deployment of the stage along Sudirman-Thamrin was carried out to unravel the crowd of visitors on New Year's Eve. Meanwhile, Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that his party had prepared 10 parking points scattered around the Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin area during the crowd free night event. This parking location is used to accommodate visitor vehicles because along Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin it will be closed to private vehicles during New Year's Eve.
