JAKARTA - A national media journalist with the initials YAN became a victim of robbery in the Flyover area towards ITC Kuningan Ambassador, the border between Setiabudi and Tanah Abang, Jakarta, Tuesday morning, December 20.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered a stab wound to the leg. The victim is now being treated at the Mintoharjo Hospital, Hillir Dam, Tanah Abang. Meanwhile, the motorbike of the victim Vespa automatic with the license plate AB 6731 FV was lost and the perpetrators took away.

From the report received by VOI, the victim previously returned from an angkringan in the Hilir Dam (Benhil) area at around 02.00 WIB. The victim's trip through the Benhil market towards Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, then turned left towards HI.

It turned out that the victim had been followed by a group of robbers' motorbikes. YAN was grabbed from the right, but had time to fight back. More robbers, so he hit his left chest.

The victim fell and tried to fight back. But the victim was stabbed in the left thigh. The victim was forced to give up because the group of perpetrators became more aggressive.

Victim YAN was then helped by a group of motorists from the opposite direction. Some of the rescue groups had chased the group of perpetrators, but lost track in the BKT area. Meanwhile, the victim was taken to the Mintoharjo Navy Hospital for treatment at around 03.00 WIB.

From the victim's statement, the perpetrators had the characteristics of bald hair and rode 4 motorbikes with 8 rides.

The head of the Tanah Abang Metro Police, Kompol Pandji Ramadhan, said that his party would check the police report regarding the incident.
