PEKANBARU - A Malaysian citizen with the initials GT who was proven to have falsified his identity in Pekanbaru was deported. The deportation process was carried out after GT was sentenced to one month in prison at the Dumai Class IIB Detention Center.

Ginting said, after an examination, investigation, and trial were carried out by the court, GT was found guilty of falsifying his identity and was sentenced to imprisonment.

He said the handover process for Malaysian citizens was carried out based on a release letter from the Dumai Detention Center with the number W.4.PAS.PAS8.PK.05.09.2411. GT was finally deported on Sunday 18 December.

"The person concerned has also undergone a medical examination, and the person concerned is declared healthy and ready to be deported to his home country using the Malaysian state Cemas SPLP/Requirement Number: 706130 issued by the Malaysian Consulate Pekanbaru," he said.
