Nataru Holiday, Jatinegara Station And Active Karawang Station But No Ticket Sales

JAKARTA - Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta stated that Jatinegara Station and Karawang can already operate to serve the ups and downs of passengers departing 7 Long Distance Trains (KAJJ) from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station from December 22 to 31, Christmas and New Year holidays.

Of the seven trains, three of them only served passenger ups and downs at Jatinegara Station and four other trains at Karawang Station.

"This is done to avoid overcrowding at Gambir Station and Pasar Senen. We make it easier for prospective passengers who will use KAJJ in the Daop 1 Jakarta area so that they have an alternative station to carry out the ticket inspection process and take the train (KA)," Eva said when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 19.

Meanwhile, the 3 trains departing from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station that stopped serving passengers at Jatinegara Station were the 7004A Argo Muria Train Additional to Semarang Tawang, departing from St Gambir at 00.35 WIB.

KA 7026B Taksaka Additional to Yogyakarta, departed from St Gambir at 23.45 WIB and KA 252A Majapahit to Malang, departed from St Pasar Senen at 20.10 WIB.

Furthermore, 4 train departures from Pasar Senen Station that stopped serving passenger passengers up and down at Karawang Station were KA 7032A Kertajaya Additional to Surabaya Pasarturi, departing from St Pasar Senen at 05.30 WIB.

KA 7034A Brantas Supplemented to Blitar, departed from St Pasar Senen at 12.05 WIB. KA 258C Jaka Tingkir to Purwosari, departed from St Pasar Senen at 12.50 WIB and KA 310A Tawang Jaya to Semarang Poncol, departed from Pasar Senen Station at 21.40 WIB.

The four trains will also stop at the arrival process only at Karawang Station. Train operations at Pasar Senen Station and Karawang Station are only valid for passenger up and down services.

"The Jatinegara Station and Karawang Station do not apply for ticket purchases, there is no long-distance train ticket sales counter. If the user wants to buy a ticket on the 7 trains, then they still choose the initial departure relationship, namely from Pasar Senen Station or Gambir Station. Ticket bookings can also be made through the KAI Access application or online and retail ticket sales agents that have collaborated with KAI officially," he said.
