The Tambora Police have investigated the sadistic gang suspect with the initials TA (21), a former fisherman who changed his job to become the captain of a robbery group.

From the crime records of the Tambora Police, the suspect TA was recorded as having committed a series of random street crimes in the Jakarta area. The suspect committed the crime just to party drugs.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama explained that the suspect TA was desperate to carry out a robbery just to buy drugs.

"Only to buy methamphetamine, he did street crimes. The suspect TA had never been caught before," said Kompol Putra when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 19.

Meanwhile, from the confession of the suspect TA to the police, he was determined to switch jobs from fishermen to criminals in the robbery mode. TA admitted that by becoming a robber, he could easily earn money rather than having to work hard to become a squid fisherman.

"Easy money, without working hard but getting easy money," he said.

From the results of the investigation, continued Kompol Putra, the suspect TA did not join certain motorcycle gang groups. TA has its own group of motorcycle and cellphone robbers.

"The suspects do not enter certain gangs, they have their own group of 5 people specifically for making money, buying methamphetamine and consuming together," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the robbers who slashed the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer were known to have the initials TA (21). The perpetrator is listed as a resident of Muara Baru, Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator had worked as a fisherman catching squid in Muara Baru. The perpetrator was shot in the leg during his arrest," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 16.

The arrest of the perpetrator was led by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Iptu Rachmad Wibowo. The perpetrator with the initials TA was arrested when he returned to a robbery in the Tambora area.

"The perpetrator served as the executor who stabbed the victim. The perpetrator of TA is also the leader of a group of five robbers," he said.
