TANGERANG - A bus accident occurred on the Tangerang-Merak KM 46 Toll Road, Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, this Sunday resulted in the death of one person. "Total korban akibat kecelakaan di Tol Tangerang-Merak ada 10 orang, dengan 9 orang mengalami luka-luka dan satu orang meninggal," kata Kepala Utama PJR Serang Korlantas Polri Tol Tangerang-Merak, Kompol Wiratno di Tangerang, Antara, Minggu, 18 Desember. The traffic accident experienced by the PO Primajasa bus with Police No. B 7925 TGC occurred at around 13.47 WIB. The incident, he continued, was suspected to have occurred due to a bus driver's lack of concentration while driving so that the vehicle could not be controlled. "Allegedly, the driver was driving the vehicle insufficient concentration. And according to his statement (the driver) experienced out-of-control (rain weather) until it overturned tilted the right wheel above," he said. He also mentioned that after the incident his party had evacuated the victims to the nearest Hospital (RS). "For the victims, we evacuated them to Balaraja Hospital, Tangerang," he said. He revealed that the case would then be submitted to the Tangerang Police as a follow-up to the investigation. "Furthermore, we will submit this case to the Tangerang Police for further investigation," he said.
