JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga through Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division operates functionally access out to Darangdan District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java at Km 99 Cikampek-Purwakarta-Padalarang (Cipularang) Toll Road towards Bandung during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
JMT Regional Division Senior General Manager Widiyatmiko Nursejati said the opening of access to Km 99 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Bandung serves to distribute homecoming traffic, especially towards Purwakarta Regency and West Bandung Regency. This route has the potential to increase during the Christmas-New Year holiday period.
“ We hope that the opening of access to Darangdan District will help facilitate community travel because it has other alternatives that are closer to their destination. For tariffs at this functional access, additional rates are not charged, but equated with tariffs to the nearest toll gate, namely the Jatiluhur Toll Gate (GT) at Km 83,” Widiyatmiko said in his statement in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, December 18.
Meanwhile, based on a letter from the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the functional operation was carried out during the Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023 periods from 18 December 2022 to 8 January 2023.
For road users with class 1 vehicles bound for functional access of Darangdan Km 99 from GT Kalihurip Utama (Km 67), a tariff of IDR 13,500 will be charged, from GT Sadang (Km 76) a tariff of IDR 6,000, while from GT Jatiluhur (Km 83) no tariff will be charged.
"We remind that this access is only to go towards Purwakarta and West Bandung, while for the opposite or towards Jakarta from this access, road users must use the national road around 20 km to re-enter the toll road via GT Jatiluhur at Km 83,” said Widiyatmiko.
In the functional operation of the Christmas-New Year period, Jasa Marga provides 3 special non-bus and non-truck class 1 transaction substations as well as transaction and mobile reader service officers to accelerate transactions at toll gates.
To ensure road users get good information regarding this access operation plan, Jasa Marga has carried out socialization through Dynamic Message Signs (DMS/digital information feeder), banners, social media and signs.
Jasa Marga urges road users to ensure readiness before traveling, including fulfilling travel requirements, ensuring the condition of drivers and vehicles are in prime condition and roadworthy, ensuring sufficient fuel and electronic money balance, preparing supplies, obeying signs and directions from officers in the field and continuing to update traffic information through Jasa Marga's official channels such as Twitter at @PTJASAMARGA, One Call Center 14080, and the Travoy application.
