Accused Of Suffocation Of Money, Santri In Malang Was Beaten By His Friend

Malang Resort Police (Polres) received a report on the incident of abuse that happened to a student at a boarding school in Malang Regency, East Java. The victim with the initials MF is 16 years old.

In the report, MF is said to have been abused by a number of his colleagues on Friday, December 16. Currently, Malang Police is investigating the abuse case.

"Regarding the case, we have received a report," said Malang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Iptu Wahyu Rizki Saputro in Malang Regency, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, December 17.

Wahyu explained that the Malang Police had also asked for information from the reporting party who was the victim's father, as well as the MF victim regarding the incident. The police are still waiting for the results of the post-mortem that has been carried out by the victim.

Malang Police, he continued, will soon ask for information from the Islamic boarding school regarding the incident that happened to the resident of Dau District, Malang Regency, East Java.

"We have asked the reporter and the victim for information, currently we are still waiting for the results of the post-mortem. The plan is that we will summon the party from the pesantren," he said.

Based on information from the victim, he was accused of stealing money by a number of his colleagues which led to acts of persecution. According to the victim's statement, there were approximately dozens of other students who carried out the persecution.

The chronology of the incident occurred on Friday, approximately 00.00 WIB. At that time, the victim was summoned by a number of his colleagues and then asked to admit the theft of a sum of money.

However, because the victim did not steal the money, a number of his colleagues abused the victim. The victim was abused in turn until approximately 04.00 WIB.

As a result of the abuse, the victim, who suffered a number of injuries, then returned to his home in Dau District, Malang Regency. The victim's parents, who knew about the abuse, then carried out a post-mortem and reported the incident to the Malang Police.
