SOLO - Solo City Government, Central Java, will immediately reopen the Taru Jurug Animal Park (TSTJ) at the end of December 2022. Currently, phase one revitalization is almost complete. Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka said the opening would be held on December 27, 2022. The opening should have been held before December 25 but in the end had to withdraw due to weather constraints. "There is a bit of delay (work process) due to the weather. Phase one is God willing, it can all be done," he said in Solo, quoted from Antara, Friday, December 16. Regarding the price of entrance tickets for visitors, he has not explained in detail. However, it is certain that the ticket price will be below Rp50,000. "Just try it, check it out (later)," he said. According to him, the target number of visitors has been determined from the start. It is hoped that at the beginning of the opening the number of visitors can reach 6,000 people/day. "It's there, maybe more," he said. Meanwhile, regarding the existence of tourist destinations in Solo, his party is committed to always adding destinations. "We always add new tourist destinations. This is actually not a new destination, but an old destination that we revitalize. We hope to have a national-class zoo. Now called Solo Safari," he said. Another tourist destination, namely the Ngarsopuro area, which has recently been beautified with various ornaments. The road to Mangkunegaran Temple is prepared for day and night tourism.
