The PDI-P (PDIP) assessed that Megawati Soekarnoputri's meeting with Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka and PDIP Solo DPC chairman FX Hadi Rudyatmo were common. The absence of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo at that moment was not considered due to conflict.

"Yes, the meeting between Mrs. Mega and Mas Gibran is held regularly," PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto told reporters, Thursday, December 15.

Hasto said Megawati often meets regional heads from PDIP. During the meeting, there were usually suggestions from the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia for his cadres.

Moreover, Megawati usually screens existing problems. No exception when going to Solo to attend the wedding of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep.

At that moment, said Hasto, Megawati had time to see the planning of the city of Solo, plants, and its public space. "This is a form of Mrs. Megawati's attention," he said.

Likewise, Ganjar, who is called Hasto, is not treated differently from other regional heads. PDIP ensures that it monitors all the performance of regional heads, especially to realize populist and concrete policies.

"What about the budget policy, what about environmental planning, culture. Legislation policy. Mrs. Mega is so detailed that the dialogue can last quite a long time," he said.

"Pak Ganjar is also the same as other regional heads, never absent," continued Hasto.

Even if Ganjar was not present at the meeting, said Hasto, it would be a normal thing. "There is no problem. Because at that time, Mrs. Mega came to Solo, not to Semarang, not to Central Java Province, so the dialogue with Mas Gibran and also Pak Rudi," he concluded.
