Acting Governor Heru Releases 30 Tons Of Rice And 1,500 Dus Mi Instant Assistance For Earthquake Victims Cianjur

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono released the departure of four humanitarian aid trucks for victims of the Cianjur earthquake, West Java at DKI Jakarta City Hall. The assistance sent was 4 (four) trucks containing basic necessities consisting of a total of 30 tons of rice and 1,500 boxes of instant noodles. This is the result of a collaboration between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, Entrepreneurs Caring for the Republic of Indonesia, and the Jakarta City-DPRD Journalists Coordinator. This assistance was handed over to the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Cianjur Regency, to then be distributed to residents affected by the earthquake. Heru hopes that this distribution can arrive on time and can help ease the daily needs of residents who are victims of the disaster. "I hope that this assistance can be distributed coordinated, on target and on purpose. So, the distribution is in accordance with the number of people in need. Hopefully this assistance will be useful, hopefully the DKI BPBD and BPBD Kab. Cianjur can guard to the destination," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, December 14.
