The Central Lombok District Attorney (Kejari) has again scheduled an additional examination of a number of witnesses in the alleged corruption case of the asphalt road project to the Mount Tunak Nature Tourism Park, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"While waiting for the results of the audit, there are several witnesses that we have to examine again, we have scheduled it and are currently in the process," said Head of the Special Investigation Section of the Central Lombok Kejari, Bratha Hariputra, in Mataram, NTB, Monday 12 December.
Regarding the role of the witness who was included in the additional examination agenda, Bratha chose not to convey it to the public, but ensured that this examination was part of strengthening evidence.
The work on the asphalt road project that collapsed at a number of 1 kilometer long road points came from the procurement of the NTB Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR).
Based on data from the official website of the Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE), this road project took place in 2017.
The partner who appears as the project implementer is PT Indomine Utama, whose address is in Selagalas, Mataram City, with a budget of IDR 3.49 billion.
In handling the case, the Central Lombok Kejari collaborated with construction experts from East Nusa Tenggara to check the condition of asphalt.
Based on the results of expert analysis, it was found that there was a shortage of work volume from the asphalt project.
The results of the analysis then became the basis for the audit team from a public accountant to calculate state losses.
"Later, when there is an audit result, the case will continue," he concluded.
