JAKARTA - The refusal of residents of Cideng Village to build temporary locations (loksem) for traders in the park area received a response from the Central Jakarta PPKUMKM Sub-dept.

Head of the Central Jakarta PPKUMKM Sub-dept., Melinda Sagala, said the location for determining the pulsem came from the proposed RT, RW, then kelurahan, continued to the sub-district to the Mayor's level.

"We are purely only fostering MSMEs for traders. The JP 47 Loksem is also recorded in the Central Jakarta Mayor's Decree (SK)," he said when confirmed, Monday, December 12.

Melinda said the type of merchandise sold in the pencasem is generally culinary. Traders there only sell their wares and are immediately taken home by the buyer.

"Buyers are not allowed to eat there, so the concept is that the message is immediately taken or take way. The operating hours will be at 06.00 WIB until 16.00 WIB," he said.

The construction of the temporary location (Loksem) of the JP 47 kiosk is the result of the Governor's National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) from 2017 to 2022.

"The construction of Loksem was delayed in 2020 because the budget was directed for handling COVID. But the reality is in the RPJMD, so it must be implemented so that it will only be realized in 2022," he said.

Previously, residents of Cideng Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta complained about the construction of a JP 47 kiosk belonging to the Central Jakarta Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUMKM).

Timothy Solihin (32), a resident of RW 06, complained that the existence of the kiosk was considered very damaging to the environment. The reason is that at that location there is a park commonly used by local residents.

"We residents do not prohibit selling places, but do not permanently (make kiosks). They should trade in mobile or use carts," he said when confirmed, Sunday, December 11.
