JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono raised the salary of experts supporting the activities of the Governor/Deputy Governor of non-PNS from previously appointed by Anies Baswedan while serving as Governor of DKI amounting to Rp. 8.2 million per month.

The news that developed, Heru raised the salary of the experts to Rp29 million. However, recently, the amount of this salary was clarified by Plt. Head of the Regional Head Bureau (KDH) of DKI Jakarta Province Mawardi.

Mawardi explained that this salary increase was contained in Governor's Decree Number 1155 of 2022 concerning the Honorary Cost Unit for Non-State Civil Apparatus Employees Supporting Governor/Deputy Governor's Activities.

In the Governor's Decree, experts are determined to be two groups. Thus, the non-civil servant does not receive a salary of Rp29 million each.

"First, policy analysts with a cost unit of Rp. 19.65 million to help carry out strategic policy analysis," Mawardi said in his statement, quoted on Monday, December 12.

"Second, supporting staff for activities with a cost unit of Rp 9.4 million to help more technical matters such as drafting welcoming/pidato scripts, protocol activities, and others," he continued.

Especially for experts who make speeches, Heru raises their salaries on the grounds of adjustment. Previously, there were 4 teasers who were divided into two for the Governor and 2 for the Deputy Governor.

Thus, the increase in honorarium for welcoming / convicts to IDR 9.4 million from previously set at IDR 8.2 million in 2019.

Mawardi said, Governor's Decree 1155 of 2022 sets an honorarium for non-ASN workers to support the activities of the Governor/Deputy Governor, with the aim of accommodating non-ASN personnel that can be recruited to assist in carrying out the duties and activities of the Governor/Deputy Governor.

"This gubernatorial decree is a reference for the standard unit of personnel costs, if there is a need to budget for non-ASN personnel to support the activities of the Governor/Deputy Governor to follow the standard reference for costs in this Governor's Decree," he said.
