JAKARTA - Chairman of the West Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU), Cucum Sumardi said, until Saturday, December 10, nine political parties (political parties) in the region had passed city-level verification and were entitled to fight for the seat of the DKI Jakarta DPRD in the 2024 election. The nine political parties have been set based on administrative regulations and requirements set by the West Jakarta KPU (Jakbar). "Alhamdulillah, everything is in accordance with the rules and regulations. In the future, we hope that this democratic process can run well, conducively, while still prioritizing that we are the people and citizens of West Jakarta," he said in West Jakarta, Saturday, December 10. The nine registered political parties include Perindo, the Nusantara Awakening Party, Garuda Party, the Gelora Party, the Crescent Star Party, Labor Party and the Community Party. Cucum said that the nine political parties have been carried out by the administrative verification process. In addition, the West Jakarta KPU has also carried out factual verification to ensure the number of members. "For factual verification, the minimum membership is 1,000 per party. Now, after we verified more than 1,000 all," said Cucum, quoted by Antara. After passing city level verification, the nine parties will pass through the provincial to national level verification process by the Indonesian KPU.
